So yesterday we had our big Reformation service at 10 in the morning, which is pretty late for me considering the usual church service I go to starts at 8 and ends at 9. So the Cavalier Singers have to sing after the offering, which is a good way through the service. Now this wouldn’t bug me on a normal day, but this is no normal day. I am going to Riot Fest at the Congress Theatre in downtown Chicago. It started at 12, but we didn’t get there until 1:30-ish. The headliners were Naked Raygun, but I’ve never heard of them, so I don’t really care about them. The band that I was so eagerly wating for was the Blue Meanies. They are great. Check them out if you want. We got back from the show at 1:30, so I’m still really tired. I went with Arik McGathey and his brothers Zach and Seth, and his sister Autumn, and some of Autumn’s friends. They are all really cool. Since the show lasted for basically 12 hours, some of the people were (and probably still are) pretty wasted. I didn’t do anything stupid because I didn’t want to get in trouble and I know how to have fun witout drinking. Anyways, it was a blast and I’ll post some pics when I get around to it.
